"Not happy with the outcome of the painting I decided to black-out the part that I did not want. The outcome was striking and unusual. Rabatment of the triangle composition came to mind and got me excited, I loved the drama that it created: calm and chaos & dark and light. I worked on the high contrast between the darks and of the lights uniting them with marks, sweeping motions and harmonizing the colours in search of reconciliation."
