"Depicted in some of the earliest art of our hunter-gatherer ancestors, the Reindeer is a powerful totem symbolizing wisdom, resourcefulness, and the continuation of the tribe. Inspired by the simplicity and elegance of paleolithic art, this sculpture, with its proud and grounded stance, depicts a creature that is confident of its place in the human psyche. The sculpture is handcrafted in stoneware clay, textured and decorated with a Shino glaze, giving the piece a traditional high-iron look."
